Ellis Yarwood achieves top grade

Our first ever apprentice achieves distinction

Head of Training and Development, Gill Mason, was delighted to announce that Kids Planet Training Academy’s first apprentice to undertake and achieve the full apprenticeship standard in Early Years Educator level 3 is Ellis Yarwood who achieved a distinction in his apprenticeship – what a tremendous achievement Ellis, Kids Planet are extremely proud of his effort to achieve it. We caught up with Ellis and this is what he had to say on his experience  ‘The apprenticeship has been extremely enjoyable for me; I’ve been supported tremendously whilst learning about things which have allowed me to constantly reflect and improve my practice. It’s been fascinating and I cannot recommend it enough’

Tutor/assessors, Ed & Kim – Ellis has made huge strides during his time as an apprentice with us and has  matured a lot over the course of his journey,  stepping up in his room on numerous occasions to lead practice   He  has always excelled as a learner and a team member, continuously seeking opportunities to develop himself as a practitioner and has been a great advocate for men in childcare. Well done Ellis we are so proud of you.
